If you are unsure or concerned about the cost, I have done my own meal prep in the past and it's absolutely not worth it. When you put together the groceries cost, time spent cooking/prepping and let's not forget that you will not me be making delicious assorted meals, this service is a no-brainer.

Sticking to a diet can be difficult, specially if you are starting. When you don't have to think about your next meal, it makes it very easy to follow with your diet and accomplish your weight goals.

We have been getting 8 meals a week using the Chef's meal plan for about a month and just love them. The food is delicious and the variety is awesome. We haven't had any meals we haven't enjoyed and gobbled up. And being able to heat them up in 2 minutes is amazing for a couple of tired working parents! Their delivery is on point, too. The guy who delivers always leaves the meals outside our front door and sends a text to let us know with a picture. They're packaged well and super cold thanks to the bags they use and cold packs (which they reuse by you leaving them out each week so really important for reducing waste!). So happy we decided to go with Farm Fresh Meals!

My 82-year-old sister-in-law's husband just passed (out in San Diego) and we were looking to gift her with something practical, healthy, and encouraging. We found the perfect thing! I tried to contact (by phone) a couple of other food delivery companies, but I could not tell where they were located and they did not have a human being answering the phone.

To our surprise, Jeff, the owner, picked up the call on a Saturday night! He was able to answer our questions and we ordered gift cards immediately. I then realized that we had forgotten to apply the code that would give us 10% off our order. I did not expect to get a response, but woke up the next morning to see that the 10% was reimbursed. SUCH GREAT SERVICE!

So, then, my SIL had somehow deleted the gift card information and we had to contact Jeff again. There he was, ready and willing to help. My husband then walked his sister through the ordering process, but she missed the final step and had to call Jeff again. It was such a relief for us and for her to know that she could pick up the phone to get help. In our numerous contacts with Jeff, we learned that he is training phone staff to help with just this kind of thing. This is SO important when you are trying to order something long distance or when dealing with elderly folks.

But, now to the food... Our SIL described in detail the freshness, the fantastic packaging, and the tastiness of the meals. She requires a gluten-free diet and is so grateful to have meal shopping and prep taken care of to get her through this difficult time. She's also happy that the food is sourced locally. And, she says that she may continue on her own as she loves Farm Fresh Meals so much. Also, we can also now count on FFM for future gifts to her.

Was looking for a quick healthy option for meals during the week to eat between meetings. Also wanted to support local businesses. Found the perfect way to get this done by finding Fresh Meals. I was a little unsure of how it would work with 3 adults all with different preferences. However I was pleasantly surprised, the food was fresh and healthy, had a nice selections, and listed calories for each meal (500-600). Bonus was I actually lost a couple pounds by eating healthier portioned meals. I selected the Monday and Thursday delivery but moving to once a week since we liked it so much we ran out of food before the next delivery. Overall I would recommend it highly. Food is well prepared, quality ingredients, and customer service is very responsive. Definitely worth it for us and good value for the money as compared to other services.

Farm Fresh Meals are amazing! In my home we really struggle with having time to pick up the kids, entertain them and get dinner on the table before crying and general toddler destruction ensues. Having a meal service has saved our lives! Not only am I short on time for cooking, I have dietary restrictions (no gluten please) and it is important to both my husband and I that we eat healthy. I have tried many different options. Companies like Blue Apron are not a fit because as I mentioned before, we DO NOT have time to cook. We tried other prepped meal services such as Eat Clean Meal Prep. They checked the boxes for healthy and gluten free, but the taste was awful. No seasoning, dry and rock hard meats, undercooked veggies. Bleh! I thought if we were to lose weight from eating Eat Clean Meal Prep – it would be because we were starving and had refused to eat at all! LOL.

Bottom line: Farm fresh meals taste AMAZING and come ready to heat and serve. The portions are very generous! I often have leftovers. They have a menu that rotates with many, many options. ( I have not seen a repeat of the same dish in 3 weeks ). I find it super easy to get meals for each day of the week that are around or under 500 calories. The service is great. I receive text updates from my deliverer and they treat me so well. I cannot tell you enough how good the food is. My family thanks me nearly every night for finding this place. Give this place a try – you won’t regret it.

Yes, there is Blue Apron and Hello Fresh and Gobble - but with all of those services, YOU have to cook. As a working mom, I don't have time for that!

Farm Fresh Meals COOKS FOR YOU. All you have to do is put it in the microwave! (I like to plate it and pretend like it's a home cooked meal vs a microwavable meal lol).

Warning: The containers look deceivingly small. Once you take it out and plate it, you'd be amazed how much food they were able to stuff in there. The portions are very generous and I'm able to give some to my kids and still be full.

I like that they have a lot of LOW CARB (great for diabetics or people watching their waist line) and DAIRY FREE options. This is very important to me. And the food is VERY TASTY and FRESH.

My only small complaint is the $7 delivery fee per delivery under $95. It's not easy to hit the $95 for one delivery. It's easy for one order for the week though! I tried ordering all my meals for the week in one delivery but there aren't enough options so I wouldn't have to eat repeats and then the Thursday's meals would look too tempting, so I'd have to order twice. I liked how with Munchery, if you ordered so many times, they would offer a free delivery or a free meal or some kind of loyalty perk.

Otherwise, I am pleasantly surprised and very happy I found Farm Fresh Meals. Thank you for making my life more delicious and easier!!

WOW these meals are good!! I have been on the hunt for a good meal prep service and at this point I've tried 4 others and had almost given up. Most were bland, low quality, or super tiny portions. So I went to yelp and found these and I'm blown away! These meals are so flavorful it feels like a nice restaurant meal and the portions are a good size. I'm so happy I found them highly recommend!!

To help out my senior parents during the pandemic, I was looking for a meal prep service to deliver them quality meals. Someone had recommended Farm Fresh Meals so I gave it a try. To make sure I know what my parents were getting, I ordered a few meals for myself to taste test. :) I have two words to summarize my initial bite: NO WORDS. I first tried the salmon cakes that came with quinoa and spinach and those were so tasty and fresh! You can just tell that the ingredients are fresh! The portions are not skimpy and quite satisfying. The packaging and delivery were perfect and seamless. I regret that I did knot know about FFM sooner. It was love at first bite for my parents as well! Like me, they have enjoyed every FFM meal and feel good about eating healthy.

We ordered from Farm Fresh Meals while we were traveling through the area and were incredibly pleased with the quality of the meals and service. What can I say that all these other reviews haven't already said? Well, I've been a chef for over 20 years and I know good food! I've also experimented with countless eating philosophies from paleo to vegetarian to vegan. I love that these meals tick most of my boxes most of the time: always canola oil, gluten and soy free and usually no dairy, corn, or refined sugars. No artificial flavors. No sugar. They keep things simple and delicious. They way things are prepared just taste the way they should. I'm a big fan and have been ordering non stop for a few months now. I personally do not eat meat twice a day every single day but if you're looking to supplement your current meals or indulge in something delicious most of the time, these are fantastic! Enjoy. You won't regret it.

I wanted to deliver a healthy organic alternative dinner to my kids in San Diego. I ordered 4 meals from Farm Fresh, and spoke with Jeff as to how his service worked. The kids received their meals and thought they were delicious! They especially loved the salmon and fig sauce chicken meals. I highly recommend this meal program to everyone. Very healthy, delicious, large variety of choices, and maintains your social distance stay at home dining experience. Jeff was very helpful when figuring things out, though the website is also very straight forward. Yum yum! The only problem now is that since the kids loved these meals so much... now, I'll have to keep ordering them more of them!!!

The cost of the meals is reasonable, my grocery bill has gone down and I'm no longer buying stuff only to have to throw it away because it didn't get cooked. I highly recommend Farm Fresh Meals!!!

I had my first Farm Fresh Meal today, it was fantastic! I finished a 5k earlier with my daughter and was ready for a solid meal. FarmFreshMeals was perfect, I was so hungry I didn’t wait to heat it up, it was delicious cold. With the recent addition of our daughter and our busy toddler son, I needed to find a ready-made meal delivery service to supplement my own cooking so that I could always count on having something delicious and nutritious to feed my family - even when time did not allow for me to cook myself. I am very selective about the quality of food that I provide my family and I am so pleased to say that Farm Fresh Meals has far surpassed my expectations! They use the best sourced organic and ethically raised ingredients and each meal tastes homemade and wonderful. You really get a sense that the meals are all cooked with "love" as the magic ingredient! All ingredients are listed on the packaging and there are no additives or refined sugars or oils. We avoid gluten and grains and the menu selection has always been able to accommodate our preferences - we even have the option of requesting a "low carb" substitution where the rice or quinoa would be replaced with a healthy serving of vegetables! Speaking of servings, the portion sizes are generous and my husband and I are able to share our meals with our two year old without feeling shortchanged. I like that they deliver to your door twice a week so that you never have to eat food that is a week old - everything is fresh and tasty! The menu is ever-changing and they incorporate a variety of different vegetables... not just the same two or three as was our experience with other meal deliveries. All-in-all, I can't say enough great things about this company and I am ever grateful that I discovered them. You are what you eat - the food you feed yourself with, becomes the building blocks of the cells that make up your body! So if you do nothing for yourself, at least eat good food and let Farm Fresh Foods help you with that!!

These meals are as delicious as they look! I tried the a la carte ordering at first to try it out and everything was so good. The braised beef was something I would honestly pay over $20 for at a restaurant. These meals have been so helpful for my hectic schedule and the delivery is wonderful. Here is what else I love about the company: it is easy to order on their website. The food delivery for their pre-packaged meals is on Mondays and Thursdays. You must place your order for Mondays by Friday morning and for Thursdays by Monday morning. I imagine this is so Jeff can order the right amount of fresh produce to prepare the meals.
There is no commitment to sign up for a "plan" that locks you in to something that you can't get out of. If for some reason you don't like it or it doesn't work for you, you can order once and be done with it. But I can't imagine that will be the case if you are looking for something consistent. Because the food is very good!
The pre-packaged meals come in microwaveable plastic containers which are stacked in a freezer bag and left at your door on delivery day. If I can't eat them all by the time my next delivery arrives, I freeze them. But they are really best when fresh.
The menu changes on Mondays and Thursdays. Often repeat recipes which are clearly a hit among customers. And some recent new recipes as the seasons change. I have some favorite meals and ones that were not 100 percent hits for ME. But truly a personal preference. Because each meal has been fresh, quality ingredients, the perfect portion size for one person and exactly as promised.
Meals range in the 12-14 dollar range mostly. I had a friend who cooks for a family say she thought that was expensive and another single friend agree with me that it's a perfect deal for a single person who is not thrilled about cooking. So, this is a matter of perspective, budget and tolerance for what else you want to take on in this crazy country in a pandemic. Cooking is not one of those things for me. :)
The delivery is 7.00 which is also reasonable to me. The drivers respect all Covid rules and they deliver very early in the morning. So they even ring my doorbell so I know the food has arrived and it doesn't sit outside.
If Jeff could figure out a way to franchise this business without losing the essence of it, it would be a HUGE HIT in other markets. Sign me up to be an investor.
