Our simple, transparent approach to chef driven, fully-prepared meals means you never have to worry about extra sodium, preservatives, or other unnatural ingredients. Our ingredients are never frozen, and travel from the farm to our kitchen to your door every week.
We believe that everyone deserves a good meal, which is why for every meal purchased, Farm Fresh Meals donates to Feeding America.
Jeff
Owner & Founder
Jeff Dougherty is passionate about bringing awareness to the benefits of maintaining a balanced whole food diet. After meeting so many other on-the-go families like his own that wanted high-quality, organic whole foods but didn’t have the time to personally source the best ingredients from local grocers, cook and clean each week, he created FarmFreshMeals.com.
Jeff has called North County San Diego home since the early 90’s. He’s an avid surfer and runner, and if you ask him enough times he might even take you to one of his favorite (and secret) North County surf spots.
Evan
Advisor & Regular Customer
While technically a “Zonie,” Evan Larkin has called North County San Diego home since moving here from Arizona in 2010. He met Jeff shortly after Jeff started Farm Fresh Meals, and once he experienced the amazing flavors and the high quality of the food, he was hooked! Evan utilizes his background in start-ups, marketing, business development, and the restaurant industry to help Farm Fresh Meals reach as many San Diegans as possible.
Evan uses our healthy meals to fuel his outdoor adventures like trail runs around the mountains in East County, or ski trips to Mammoth and Big Bear. (Jeff has still not shown him to one of his secret surf spots.)
John Zideravech
The Chef
John Zidarevich is an Executive Chef with over 25 years in the culinary industry. Influenced by his Croatian and English background along with living in California, Michigan and Colorado he has been able to broaden his palate by incorporating Asian, Hispanic, Indian and American cuisine into his cooking.
Cooking is not John’s only passion. John is married with 3 children and two Great Danes. He has played baseball most of his life and currently plays on a team with the MSBL in North County.
